# Installing Tags in WordPress

You can implement Ptengine's basic tag using WordPress. This method is efficient as it does not require individual installation on multiple pages.

## Recommended Setup Method:

Select "Appearance" → "Theme Editor"

Select the theme you want to configure Ptengine with

Select "header.php" or "Theme Header"

Issue the basic tag and place it immediately before the tag

Click "Save File" to complete

## Alternative Setup Method

Depending on the theme, editing of headers and footers may be restricted. In that case, please try the following method:

Install and activate the "Insert Headers And Footers" plugin

Select "Insert Headers And Footers" from the settings in the left sidebar

Insert the Ptengine basic tag in the header section
